VISTA comes with a selection of pre-configured reports. These produce common statistics such as vehicle-miles-traveled and average travel times. The outputs of these reports may be viewed directly in the web interface, downloaded and imported into Excel, or downloaded as PDF documents for printing.
For more customized outputs, users may query the database directly. The outputs of these queries may be viewed directly in the web interface or downloaded and imported into Excel.
It is not uncommon for a user to want an output that is difficult or inefficient to produce using a query. In these cases, a user may develop a custom report using our C++ or Python libraries for accessing the VISTA database and data elements.
